With certifications from the UK, USA, Canada, and the wonderous South Africa, my life journey has settled me for the last 24 years in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai. Amidst a melting pot of nationalities, religions, and beliefs, I have gained a magical perspective that celebrates the beautiful diversity of humanity. The UAE, a haven for adventurers from around the globe, has helped me weave a tapestry of understanding about our shared human experience here on this beautiful blue planet called EARTH.

My Personal Journey Masking Sadness to Unveiling Love, Laughter, & Adventure
Picture this, a little girl, born and raised in the beautiful landscapes of South Africa.
My Mom tells me that I was such a happy little girl, always spreading joy and laughter, she had to watch me closely when we went out to town as I would wonder off to spread joy to whomever was around, even beggars sitting on sidewalks. Unfortunately like many of us, life happened to me, giving me quite a few reality checks and thereby distorting my perception of my own hopes and dreams and the possibilities my life could hold.
During my teenage years, I never felt good enough or skinny enough, constantly trying to fit in the mold that society's suggests we should fit into.
Somewhere over time I started wearing masks trying to fit into what was expected of me. Having coffee with a old school friend the other day she told me that she always thought I was happy and beautiful when we were in school. She secretly thought, "What does she know that I don't!" as she herself was struggling with self confidence at that point.
Well, let me tell you, perception is the trickster of all, and I got really good at it, so good that I even tricked myself for years.
After school I studied secretarial, attempted working 9-5 but soon realized I was not made to work for a boss. Instead I tried my hand at being an entrepreneur, selling wellness products and educating myself with as many trainings locally in South Africa and abroad. My biggest breakthrough and AHA moment came when I went to a "live" Tony Robbins event, and realized I could choose what I want for my life if I work harder on myself than anything else and this breakthrough changed the trajectory of my life.
At 21, fate smiled upon me as I met the love of my life, leading to a marriage that has now spanned an incredible 33 years.
We renewed our vows a few years back in Las Vegas, going all out with Elvis and Priscilla dress-up in a small Chapel for a dash of mischief and fun. Together we created two amazing human beings whom I love to the moon and back, Heinrich and Marius now both adults. Together with their father they are my rock-solid anchors, always inspiring me to walk the bold path. In fact, I have a sneaky feeling that between them their dreams for me are even bigger than my own. How lucky can a girl get?
When I need a dose of pure bliss, you'll find me by the ocean, absorbing the energizing vibes of the sun and white beaches.
My favorites being the magical blue waters of the Maldives or the different shades of blue of the Exuma's in the Bahamas, not to forget about the relaxed vibes of Thailand.
My beloved homeland of South Africa will forever hold the largest part of my heart, with its never ending open fields, majestic mountains, wild animals, birds and resilient people. One can't help but be in amazement when you visit, no wonder they discovered the Cradle of Life there!
Now, let's talk guilty pleasures – I'm an absolute sucker for emotionally-fueled movies.
City of Angels and The Lakehouse are two movies that never fail to tug at my heartstrings.
I enjoy my quiet time, and in those moments, I contemplate the answers to life's profound questions.
The pursuit of personal growth has captivated me, igniting my desire to evolve and grow constantly
to become the best person I can be with authenticity and integrity.
If someone told me that I could go back in time and change anything – would I?
Drumroll, please... NOT A CHANCE!
